Over the past weekend Bill McKibben and thousands of activists demonstrated at the Chevron plant in Richmond, California, bringing attention to the one-year anniversary of the plant’s toxic explosion and ensuing toxic cloud that polluted the nearby region and caused the hospitalization of over 15,000 people.

McKibben and others were arrested and spoke vehemently about Chevron’s terrible track record as  a “bad actor”  not only at this refinery but all over the world. Here are a few links to video and an article regarding the demonstration and ensuing events:
